The law firm of Inscore, Rinehardt, Whitney & Enderle was originally formed in 1972 by Larry L. Inscore, John J. Rinehardt, and Robert H. Whitney. The three founding members—each experienced courtroom trial lawyers—combined their backgrounds and expertise in personal injury, business litigation, criminal law, traffic, family law, and probate to create a firm dedicated to meeting the diverse legal needs of private citizens and consumers in the Mansfield, Ohio area.
Today, the firm is led by Loré Whitney as its sole attorney, continuing the tradition of providing knowledgeable and results-driven legal representation. Backed by an experienced and supportive staff, Loré Whitney offers clients personalized attention and trusted guidance across a broad range of legal matters.

Robert H. Whitney
Robert H. Whitney was born on October 18, 1935, in Lexington, Ohio. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1953 and was later drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served his country for two years. After completing his military service, Mr. Whitney worked in commercial construction while attending night school at Ashland College. He later attended Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies. He remained at Ohio Northern to attend law school, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1962.
Mr. Whitney began practicing law in Mansfield, Ohio in 1962. In 1972, along with Attorneys John J. Rinehardt and Larry Inscore, he formed what became the present-day law firm. The majority of his practice was in the field of criminal law. Over the course of his career, he tried several hundred jury trials, including multiple death penalty cases. Bob Whitney practiced primarily in Richland, Ashland, Morrow, and Crawford Counties.
Mr. Whitney was a dedicated member of the Lexington Local Schools Board of Education beginning in April 1964 and served as president of the board for approximately 35 to 40 years.

Bob Whitney was married to Carole Auer, his high school classmate, in 1956. Together, they had four adult children: Attorney R. Rolf Whitney, Tam Whitney Schuster (Court Reporter), Attorney M. Loré Whitney, and Capt. Michael Whitney (Continental-United Airlines).
Bob Whitney was a major contributor to the Mansfield area throughout his life. He passed away on January 1, 2024. His legacy of service, dedication, and advocacy lives on, and his clients will always be welcome at the firm he helped build.
M. Loré Whitney
M. Loré Whitney was born on October 30, 1961. She graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, Ohio in 1980, and went on to graduate from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Health and Physical Education. She later earned a Master’s Degree in Animal Science from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky in 1986. She also attended the University of Kentucky before graduating from the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law in Ada, Ohio in 1991, where she received her law degree.
While attending college, Loré worked at AK Steel and was a member of USW 169. She also worked at Pebble Creek Golf Course for 30 years. Loré has been engaged in the practice of law since 1992. Her practice consists of Criminal Law, Traffic Law, Domestic Relations, Family Law, Probate, and Juvenile Law. She also served as a part-time Magistrate with the Mansfield Municipal Court.
Loré is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, where she has served as past president, and she is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. In her spare time, she is involved with the Lexington Athletic Booster Club, serving on the Board of Directors. In 2024, she was appointed to serve on the Lexington Local School Board, filling the seat of her late father. In addition, she enjoys raising cattle and working on her farm.
