Michael L. Inscore
Michael Inscore was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1958. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration and a major in economics. In 1984, he obtained his law degree, with honors, also from The Ohio State University. He then joined the firm of Inscore, Rinehardt, Whitney and Enderle Co., L.P.A. Since 1984, he has been in private practice in state and federal courts in Ohio. His practice has been heavily weighted toward litigation of personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. He has lectured on the subject of medical negligence (malpractice) before the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and Richland County Bar Association. His practice has been focused on but not limited to litigation (lawsuits) on behalf of persons and families of persons affected by serious and catastrophic medical conditions and injuries.
Michael Inscore is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Ohio Association for Justice. He is a long time member and former chairperson of the Richland County Bar Association Certified Grievance Committee (an organization that investigates allegations of unethical conduct by attorneys).
Mr. Inscore has been admitted to practice in all courts of the state of Ohio including the Ohio Supreme Court and the Ohio Court of Claims as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Michael has experience in handling a broad range of cases involving traumatic injuries resulting from automobile and trucking collisions as well as injuries caused by animals or by falls. He has successfully resolved through trial and settlement, medical negligence cases involving a variety of medical care fields including birth injury, failure to timely diagnose serious medical conditions (such as cancer and other diseases), surgical errors, medication errors, psychiatric treatment errors, nursing home injuries, local and metropolitan hospital negligence and wrongful death claims. His extensive experience in the preparation and settlement or trial of complex litigation has enabled him to achieve numerous verdicts and settlements in excess of a million dollars for victims of medical, hospital and nursing negligence and other harmful and wrongful conduct.
Michael Inscore has also successfully represented clients who had been wrongfully denied health, life and disability insurance benefits by their insurance companies. In addition, he maintains a general civil litigation practice. As is the case for most members of the firm, he is available to assist with contract matters, wills and estates.
Since 1981, Michael Inscore has been married to Susan Marie Inscore, a registered nurse. Together, they are the parents of three adult children, Daniel, Andrew and Haleigh.
