John R. Enderle
John Enderle was born in Mansfield, Ohio in 1946. He graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 1968 with a degree in Business Administration. He commenced his study of law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law in the fall of 1968 but shortly thereafter his studies were interrupted when he was drafted into the U.S. Army. As an infantryman, he was trained as a mortar sergeant, trained other men to become mortar sergeants as a Tactical NCO and then served a tour of duty in Vietnam as a mortar sergeant. After returning to civilian life, John resumed his legal education at the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 1974. Shortly thereafter he joined the law firm now known as Inscore, Rinehardt, Whitney and Enderle and began his practice primarily in the areas of criminal law, personal injury and medical malpractice. Before shifting his focus to other areas of the practice of law, he made multiple appearances before the Ohio Supreme Court.
As his practice grew, John’s focus gradually evolved into primarily representing clients in the areas of Social Security Disability and Family Law. The last 30 years has seen a continued concentration in his practice of representing disabled person’s in their effort to obtain Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. Over the years that part of his practice has involved all levels of the Social Security Disability law including Administrative Law Judge hearings, appeals to the Appeals Council and practice at the Federal District Court level. He has been a member of the National Association of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOCCSR) for the last 25+ years which serves to keep him informed of the most recent changes and strategies in Social Security Disability law and practice. He has made presentations on Social Security Disability related issues in the Mansfield area and to the Richland County Bar Association.
Mr. Enderle’s other area of practice is Family Law which involves paternity, custody, divorce, legal separation and dissolution cases. He has served as the chairman of the Richland County Bar Association Family Law Committee and continues to be a member of that committee.
John has also served as the President of the Richland County Bar Association and Chairperson of various committees. In the community he has been a board member of two organizations committed to the treatment of substance abuse. He served as Board President for an organization that provides reproductive and health care services. Currently, he is a board member of a Mansfield City School Community School which primarily serves disadvantaged youth.
